Kenny Construction – Amtrak Power Line Replacement Project

Southern Lancaster County – Amtrak needed to upgrade its Depression-era power lines that run through the abandoned Enola Low Grade rail line through seven municipalities in southern Lancaster County. To that end, they engaged Kenny Construction to oversee the project, which in turn hired Diehm to provide construction stake-out services. There were approximately 240 towers over a 24 mile corridor that needed to be put in place for the new power lines. The schedule provided to Diehm was aggressive and was responded to with remarkable success; on pace to complete the survey ahead of the scheduled deadline.
