Diehm & Sons services various clientele, all with different needs. We've had the opportunity to recently complete or are currently working on the following projects: New IMAX Theater at Penn Cinema
Manheim Township, Lancaster County - The client, Penn Ketchum, wanted to construct a new 425-seat IMAX theater to serve the Lancaster area and he approached Diehm with a challenge: get the project approved quickly so he could construct the theater in time for the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. This required Diehm to get topographic survey of the site, design and engineer the project, obtain zoning and sewage permitting approvals, and process land development plans through the Township, all in less than 5 months. We met the challenge and finished the project on time, allowing the theater’s construction and grand opening to proceed on schedule.
